Mallory Mahoney, DPT, PT

Mallory completed her B.S. in Education and Sports Science from the University of Kansas. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. Mallory initially joined the SSOR team in 2014 as an intern, developing and fine tuning her expertise before officially uniting with the team as a physical therapist. Mallory is pursuing an advanced manual therapy certification from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, and has earned a NAIOMT Level I certificate. Her experience includes years of extensive training under several distinguished clinicians specializing in the treatment of shoulder, spine, and sport injuries. Mallory worked as a Physical Therapy Technician in the sports and orthopedic setting for 4 years. She currently serves as an active member of the Sports and Orthopedic Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association and Kansas Physical Therapy Association.
Mallory’s professional aspirations involve improving clinical techniques for prevention and rehabilitation for bootcampers, Cross Fitters, and weekend warriors. She has a passion to guide and assist client pain relief and optimum functionality in everyday life, whether for parenting, working, or athletics. Mallory continues to work and aspire to practice and improve techniques for evaluation, intervention, and prognostic skills and plans to acquire a certification as a manual and orthopedic therapy specialist. In her leisure time, Mallory enjoys traveling, tennis, basketball, hiking, skiing, and disc golf.
