Alex Bolin

Alex Bolin, Clinic Director, DPT, PT, CSCS

Alex Bolin, DPT, PT, CSCS, earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. Prior to attending Rockhurst, Alex attended Kansas State University where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology. Alex has also obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credentials through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Alex joined the SSOR team in 2017 after interning with Mallory at the Prairie Village clinic.

Alex’s clinical interests include treating active individuals of all ages, sports performance, throwing mechanics, and ACL injury prevention. He has a passion for youth and high school athletes and assisting them in return to sport. Alex believes that a comprehensive, progressive exercise program coupled with a hands-on approach is the best method to reduce pain, improve function, and performance. Alex stays up to date on current research and is passionate about utilizing the very best methods to help his patients return to the things they love. In 2018, Alex was invited to speak at the NSCA regional meeting about training methods to reduce ACL injury in youth athletes.

Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys staying active with weightlifting and playing golf. Additional hobbies include skiing, camping, and hiking in the mountains of Colorado with his wife. Alex is a proud, native, Kansas Citian and diehard fan of the Royals, Chiefs, and Kansas State Wildcats.
